Standalone Device
By a standalone measuring device we mean a measuring device that has permanently installed sensors. Its functional range cannot be extended by additional electrodes and probes.Usually a standalone device is suitable for a specific purpose or for a specific measuring task.
If you already own a measuring device or a case set from Gann and you want to extend the range of functions but there is no probe you can connect to your measuring device, a standalone device can also be used as an extension to your case set.
A common example is the Hydromette BL Compact B 2, which is a building moisture indicator. No cables or probes can be connected and the Hydromette is only used for capacitive building moisture measurement.
