Infrared ProbeTF-IR BL
Description
The TF-IR BL is a combined probe that can be used to simultaneously perform climate measurements (air humidity and air temperature) and infrared surface temperature measurements.
This combination of the different measuring techniques enables the TF-IR BL probe to be used for quickly and reliably assessing dew points undershoots or determining borderline conditions on surfaces such as walls, ceilings, floors as well as on window or door lintels.
The probe has an audible signal for the detection of critical surface temperatures (see Properties)
When using the probe in due time mould formations (fungal growth) may be prevented and occurrence of moistening caused by condensation may be assessed reliably.

Specifications
- Built-in laser pointer for identifying the measuring spot and adjustable emissivity from 20 to 100 %
- Automatic calculation of dew point temperature and equilibrium wood moisture content (EMC) as well as air absolute humidity readout in g/m³
- How does the audible signal work to locate critical surface temperatures?
-> The more the surface temperature is approaching the dew point temperature, the more the signal will change from intermittent to continuous sound -> When undershooting the dew point temperature, there is an imminent risk of mould formation (fungal growth), since water from the air can condensate at the respective location - For the measuring of metallic or reflective surfaces we recommend the matt-black stickers IR 30 / E 95, as otherwise incorrect measurements may result
